Science

Our workshop series run in a three year cycle, so that means you have up to six years of new material.

(Between our older and younger classes.)

Our 2026-27 workshop series History Plus: Science! for ages 12 and up invites you on an educational journey meshing science with history over the span of the school year.

Explore the secrets of electricity with Nikola Tesla!

Sail through the far reaches of space with Galileo!

Take a new look at engineering with Gustave Eiffel!

Designed to be independent but complementary to our ages 8-11 program, History Plus: Science! is destined to not just create a love of science, but also it's place in our historical journey.

Every workshop consists of science taught historically through dramatic teaching, engaging activities, experiments, interactive theatre, and an optional list of resources for further study at home.

This workshop series is suitable for ages 12 and up, and the older the student, the more they get out of the program!

As with all of our workshop series, it consists of 9, half-day workshops. (Once a month, Sept. to May.)

Monthly Topics: (in order)

  • Engineering (Sept.)

  • Deep Space (Oct.)
